Lean Belt Certification



Lean Belt Certification programs are experiential, hands-on programs during which participants learn basic to advanced topics of lean. Approximately 25% of the time is spent in a classroom or workshop setting, while the majority of the time is spent implementing and developing solutions through kaizen-style sessions.
Our belief is that you learn by actually doing, vs simply listening to a lecture. Our philosophy is based on the "gemba" principle of doing the work where it actually happens.
Lean Belt Certification is offered in many levels - the most popular levels are:
Whitebelt:
Pre requisite: none
A three to four day introductory lean certification program designed to provide basic knowledge of lean.
Greenbelt:
Pre-requisite: none
A Three module course which provides basic, intermediate, and some advanced knowledge and experience of lean.
Blackbelt:
Pre-requisite: Greenbelt
A Four module course which delivers significantly more advanced materials around lean, and includes a benchmark trip to Japan.
Master Blackbelt:
Pre-requisite: Blackbelt, LSI Qualification Process
30-day internship with LSI with an access to unprecedented numbers of course, projects, and special assignment.
